ABOUT THIS GAME
The Patient Sculptor
You are not a person. You are geological time. A procedurally generated island sits before you, rendered top-down with fully procedural art (no images, fonts, or audio files anywhere — every texture, sprite, icon, and sound is synthesized at runtime). You never command anyone on the island. You only wield the slow forces — rain, wind, rivers, ice, fire, and the sea — and then press a button that makes one thousand years pass. Rain carves valleys. Sediment fattens river deltas. Moist ocean air follows the prevailing wind and is wrung dry by mountains, leaving lush windward slopes and deserts in their shadow. Forests creep into fertile soil. And if the land is kind, small civilizations appear — settling river mouths and sheltered coasts, growing, splitting into daughter villages, declining, and leaving ruins that the earth slowly reclaims. Everything they do is a consequence of something you did centuries before. The whole history of the island is recorded in the Chronicle, and you can scrub back through every epoch at any time. There is no losing. The joy is watching ten thousand years of consequence unfold from one small decision.
